The Lights set to embark on 34-week regular season campaign with Home Opener set for Saturday, March 28 against Monterey Bay FC
Las Vegas Lights FC today announced the full schedule for the 2026 USL Championship regular season.
The 34-game regular season will see the club play 30 regular season matches and four group stage matches in the 2026 Prinx Tires USL Cup.
The league’s opening weekend begins on Saturday, March 7, but the Lights will kick off their season on Saturday, March 14 at Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC. Following the conclusion of the regular season, the top eight teams from both the Western and Eastern Conference will advance to the single-elimination playoffs, starting on the weekend of Oct. 30 – Nov. 1.
Key Matches
Las Vegas Lights FC opens the campaign with two matches on the road, first taking on their opponent from the 2024 Western Conference Final, Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC, on March 14. Then, the team travels to Oklahoma to face the defending 2025 Western Conference champions, FC Tulsa, on March 21.
The club then hosts the 2026 Home Opener on Saturday, March 28 against Monterey Bay FC.
The Lights will kick off their 2026 Prinx Tires USL Cup group stage campaign at home against USL League One expansion side Athletic Club Boise on April 25. Away games against Spokane Velocity FC (May 17) and Monterey Bay FC (July 10) sandwich the club’s other home game on June 6 against Oakland Roots SC.
Back in the regular season, Las Vegas will host on July 4th again in 2026 as El Paso Locomotive FC comes to town for a Saturday night Independence Day matchup.
Over the last half of the 30-game regular season campaign, the Lights have a home-dominant schedule with nine out of their final 15 games played on home turf. This includes a matchup against expansion newcomers Brooklyn FC on August 15.
The home schedule concludes on October 17 against Lexington SC with the team’s penultimate match of the season. To end the 2026 regular season, Las Vegas Lights FC will make the same road trip that closed the 2025 season – Monterey Bay FC on October 24.

Broadcast Details
The 2026 USL Championship season will be the third in the league’s four-year broadcast agreement with CBS Sports, with games also set to air nationally on ESPN Networks, CBS Sports Network, CBS Sports Golazo Network, ESPN+ and TUDN.
Las Vegas Lights FC games will continue to air locally on the KVVU family of networks in 2026, which includes FOX5 and Silver State Sports & Entertainment Network (SSSEN). A full broadcast schedule will be announced at a later date.
