Gannon scored a spectacular goal from outside the box to give the Lights a fighting chance in a narrow 2-1 defeat against North Carolina FC.

Las Vegas Lights FC midfielder Coleman Gannon was named to the USL Championship Team of the Week Bench for Week 25 on Tuesday morning.
Gannon earned his spot on the Team of the Week Bench after a strong individual performance in the Lights’ 2-1 loss against North Carolina FC last Saturday.
Down 2-0 with less than 15 minutes to go, the Lights found a glimmer of hope in Coleman Gannon, who blasted the ball past NCFC goalkeeper Oliver Semmle from distance to halve the deficit.
Beyond his goal, Gannon led the team in total shots (6), touches in the opposition box (6), and was successful in 100% of his attempted dribbles (2/2).
Las Vegas Lights FC will return to Cashman Field on Saturday, August 30 to host Lexington SC. Tickets are available now at lasvegaslightsfc.com/tickets.
