Lights to kick off preseason with a Season Ticket Member-exclusive intrasquad friendly before wrapping preparations in the Dominican Republic
Las Vegas Lights FC today announced the club’s preseason schedule ahead of the 2026 season. The regular season kicks off with three straight road games before the Home Opener on March 28 against Monterey Bay FC.
The team began training in Las Vegas on Monday, January 26 under Head Coach Devin Rensing. Following the first two weeks of training, the team will play an intrasquad friendly at Cashman Field on Saturday, February 7.

Las Vegas will then train for another week in-market ahead of an away friendly match at Phoenix Rising FC on Saturday, February 14 at 11:00 a.m. PT / 12:00 p.m. local time.
To wrap up preseason preparations, the team will depart for Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic for a two-week stint. The Lights will train at Cap Cana Sports City during the team’s stay in the DR and will play a series of three preseason friendly matches.

- Tuesday, February 24 vs. Atletico Pantoja
- Friday, February 27 vs. Inter Toronto
The team will return to Las Vegas on Monday, March 2 ahead of the first game of the season away at Orange County SC on Saturday, March 7.
