Biography: Ammeter has made 68 appearances in the Swiss second tier overall in his career, having previously competed for FC Aarau, where he joined the professional ranks in the 2017-18 season. Ammeter made his debut for FC Aarau at the start of the 2019-20 season and played every minute of the campaign, recording five shutouts.
A native of New York City whose family returned to Switzerland when he was young, Ammeter joined Swiss Super League club Young Boys on loan in 2021 and made one appearance for the perennial title contender before returning to FC Arau. He joined FC Wil before the 2022-23 season and made recorded three shutouts in 10 appearances in the league during his first campaign before becoming the club’s regular starter this season.
