Antonoglou scored the Lights’ single goal in a 1-1 draw against Phoenix Rising to earn a valuable point at Cashman Field
Las Vegas Lights FC defender Themi Antonoglou was named to the USL Championship Team of the Week Bench for Week 22 on Tuesday morning.
Antonoglou earned his spot on the Team of the Week Bench after scoring the Lights’ only goal in a 1-1 draw against Phoenix Rising FC at Cashman Field.
In the second minute of play, Antonoglou’s cross to the box was deflected by a Phoenix defender, catching the opposition’s keeper off guard and sliding past the goal line to give the Lights a very early lead.

Besides scoring, Antonoglou also kept 90% passing accuracy, made seven defensive contributions, and recovered the ball five times.
