Raiko Arozarena kept his fourth clean sheet of the season to help the Lights earn three valuable points against Eastern Conference leaders Loudoun United FC.

Las Vegas Lights FC goalkeeper Raiko Arozarena was named to the USL Championship Team of the Week for Week 9 of the 2025 regular season on Tuesday morning.
Arozarena earned his spot on the Team of the Week after a phenomenal performance against Loudoun United FC, making five saves and keeping a clean sheet against one of the best attacks in the league.
The highlight of his game was without a doubt his 49th minute save, where he denied Loudoun United midfielder Florian Valot the opportunity to make things 1-1 in a massive display of his reflexes and adequate reading of the game.
This clean sheet marks Arozarena’s fourth shutout of the season, topping the league’s clean sheet standings alongside New Mexico United goalkeeper Alexandros Tambakis. Arozarena also has the fourth highest save percentage in the league (73.3%) and the second lowest goals conceded per match, with 0.8.
Overall, the Lights lead the league with five total shutouts, as fellow goalkeeper Nicholas Ammeter has also contributed one clean sheet.
The Lights will return to Cashman Field on Saturday, May 10 to host Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC for Week 10 of the USL Championship regular season. Tickets are available for purchase at lasvegaslightsfc.com/tickets.
