Following a Saturday night filled with goals and a big win at Cashman Field, Las Vegas Lights FC takes the party down the street this weekend for the first annual “Kick ‘n Crawl” pub event.
Beginning at 3:30 p.m. Saturday night, just ahead of a busy summer schedule for Lights FC and the beginning of the highly-anticipated 2018 World Cup, soccer fans can hang out and interact with Lights FC players and coaches at three unique stops.
Tickets for the pub crawl are on sale at LightsFC.com/Crawl. Each ticket to the event can be purchased ahead of time for $30, and includes one (1) Supporters Section ticket to Lights FC’s home match against Seattle Sounders 2 on Saturday, June 16, plus one beer, courtesy of Modelo, per stop during the event. Tickets will also be on Saturday for $35.
The “Kick ‘n Crawl” starts at the Gold Spike at 3:30 p.m., where fans can earn a chance at great prizes by competing against Lights FC players in a variety of games, including table tennis, giant beer pong, four square and cornhole. There will also be an appearance by Dotty and Dolly, the unofficial Lights FC llama mascots.
From there, festivities will move to The Underground Speakeasy at The Mob Museum at 5:30 p.m. In an intimate setting, fans can get to know some of the newest members of the Lights FC roster while enjoying the specialty Lights FC cocktail – the “Lights Out” – among other drinks.
The final stop will be a one-of-a-kind pool party at the Plaza Hotel & Casino at 7:30 p.m., where the party will continue on the hotel’s rooftop pool deck, which overlooks Fremont Street. The pool party will have several unique features, including a Dunk Tank – with Technical Director Chelís even taking his turn in the tank – giant games, bingo and prizes, courtesy of Zappos.
The “Shirts Off their Backs” tradition will also continue at the Plaza Hotel and Casino, with players giving their jerseys to fans in attendance.
The “Kick ‘n Crawl” will mark the club’s official welcoming of all Las Vegas soccer fans to what should be a thrilling summer on the pitch. The June 16 match at Cashman Field will be the first of 10 remaining Lights FC home dates in its inaugural United Soccer League season. The pub crawl also comes five days before the June 14 kick-off to the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
“Lights FC is all about downtown soccer parties – On the pitch and in the streets,” Lights FC Owner & CEO Brett Lashbrook said. “The Kick ‘n Crawl party is another way for us to have fun side-by-side with our fans. Soccer, beer, pool party, Downtown Las Vegas, fans & Chelís is a recipe for a bucket list moment!”
