Las Vegas Lights FC to Host “Donate Life Night” in Partnership with Nevada Donor Network to Raise Awareness for Organ, Eye and Tissue Donation
1,000 Local Healthcare Workers to Receive Free Tickets to Friday’s Match

October 6, 2021 (Las Vegas) — Using its platform as a professional sports team locally to help raise awareness for important causes around the valley, Lights FC is teaming up with Nevada Donor Network this week to raise awareness for the 591 Nevadans currently waiting for a second chance through organ donation.
At Friday’s home match (7 p.m. kick-off vs. Los Angeles at Cashman Field), Lights FC players will wear specially designed commemorative jerseys featuring various human organs that may be donated when a heroic donor passes away to provide life to others in need.
The need for local residents to register as organ donors is important, especially within multicultural communities where diverse matches are needed to ensure success in transplantations.
Fans are encouraged to register to become a donor hero at RegisterMe.org or at Cashman Field during the event.
Additionally, Nevada Donor Network and Lights FC are donating 1,000 match tickets to local healthcare workers and their families as a thank you for all they do keeping local residents healthy. Local healthcare professionals can redeem their tickets at LightsFC.com/NDN.
“This is an important cause– and one that we are proud to help raise local awareness for,” said Lights FC Owner and CEO Brett Lashbrook. “We sincerely hope that this initiative starts important conversations within families and causes fans to learn more about the 591 fellow Nevadans that are currently waiting for a second chance through organ donation.”
Individual tickets can be purchased here: LightsFC.com/Tickets.
