What They’re Saying
FORWARD CHRISTIAN PINZON
On his thoughts about the final match of the season…
Unfortunately, we couldn’t end the season with a win, but proud of the boys, proud of the effort. We just gotta leave with the good and hope for next year to be a better year.
On finishing as the USL Championship assist leader…
It’s a good feeling, but that just shows, right, like we’re all a team. Thanks to these guys for scoring those goals that I give them, so very, very appreciative of that.
On his message to the fans…
Thank you guys, we appreciate you. Our support for you guys is endless, and hopefully you guys can double that support next year.
HEAD COACH DEVIN RENSING
On his thoughts following the final match of the season…
Obviously, it’s a cruel game. The guys played hard for 90-plus minutes, but at this point, what can you say? The guys played hard, and probably the effort just came up short.
On what the team needs to improve heading into next season…
That’s gonna be a lot of reflection for myself and the club in the offseason. I think that we just gotta refocus on a couple things and move forward.
On his message to the fans…
Just thank you for all your support all year. I really, really appreciate it. Our team really appreciates it, and my staff really appreciates it. They were great all year, and we just came up a little bit short.
