Players and coaches take some pointers from UFC legend Forrest Griffin to kick off the bye week.

Lights FC players and coaches got to try a little something different to kick off their bye week, coming fresh off of Saturday's 4-1 victory at Cashman Field over Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC.

They traded kicks for fists ... and then still mixed in a few kicks.

The team took a trip to visit the state-of-the-art UFC Performance Institute, where it was given a crash course in combat by UFC legend Forrest Griffin.
