One of Las Vegas’s hardest-working outfits will have a hand in honoring the hardest-working Las Vegas Lights Football Club (FC) player after each match.

Laborers Union Local #872 is on board as an official sponsor of Lights FC, with a multi-tiered partnership in place for the 2018 season.

A highlight of the deal includes sponsorship of the “Hardest Working Man of the Match” following each Lights FC home game at Cashman Field. Also, at the end of the 2018 campaign, one player will receive the Laborers’ Trophy as the “Hardest Working Man of the Year.”

“I want to thank Tommy White and the entire Laborers Union Local #872 membership for their support of professional soccer in Downtown Las Vegas,” said Brett Lashbrook, team owner and CEO of Lights FC. “Laborers are known as the hardest working individuals in town, and Lights FC couldn’t be prouder of our association with them to honor our hardest working players. We can’t wait for their members to boisterously join us field side every match, cheering us on to victory.”

"For years, Las Vegas has had great soccer clubs for youth soccer, and now having a professional team is a benefit to the entire community,” said Marco Hernandez, Vice President of Local 872. “The members of Local 872 are proud to go out there and support our team – Lights FC. We look forward to a long future with them, building the team together."

Along with various sponsorship and marketing placements across several mediums, Local 872 will be the presenting sponsor and naming rights partner of “Section #872,” which will be an on-field, ticketed section located just off the sideline.
